Todd’s Dirt Todd “the DIRT Man” Courtney is determined to convert the Fabulous Food Show masses to DIRT lover’s by the end of the event! A 2011 Sofi Silver Award winner from the National Association of the Specialty Food Trade for seasonings, this determined entrepreneur plans to work “as many festivals, cooking shows, and in-store demos as I can so I can personally convert each person I meet into DIRT lovers.” The company started as an attempt to recreate a much-loved seasoning from a family friend and boomed into a full-time labor of love, fueled by inspiration from Donny Deutsch’s “The Big Idea.” The base product line includes Todd’s “Original DIRT” as well as a gluten-free alternative, and two additional spice creations, and can be used on virtually any product from meat and fish to alcoholic beverages. Courtney and his DIRT will be brand-new to the Fabulous Food Show, but the salesman extraordinaire is no longer a novice to the food circuit, thanks to 35 shows under his belt. He recalls his experiences by admitting, “I was absolutely nuts…I didn’t know anything about the food show industry. I learned a lot in the last year.” His success is due to his larger-than-life persona and the uniqueness of his product, which plays off the fun tagline “get DIRTY!” All of Courtney’s “DIRT” products will be available at the Fabulous Food Show, including a new concoction called “DIRTY Candy,” white chocolate combined with Crabby DIRT shaped into cute little crabs. Stop by Todd’s DIRT during the Fabulous Food Show and say hello at booth #305, and be prepared to “get DIRTY!” |
